London to Paris ’09

In September 2009, I spent a few days riding from London to Paris on an organized ride. This was a fundraising ride for Merlin which is organized every year. You do not need to be a super athlete to take part! For more information on how to apply, please visit http://www.merlin.org.uk/london-paris-bike-ride.

The Route!
It’s about 300 miles and takes four days. I started out the evening before as the official event start line is in Bexley, I wanted my London to Paris to start in the Merlin London office!

The following Google maps show my route. These maps are interactive so you can scroll down to see the real detail of our cycle route.

The evening before – Merlin HQ to the start-line.

Day 1: The ride to the Dover

Day 2 – 4: Calais to Paris
